The EDGT program at Concordia is an innovative professional development program the enables educators to obtain credit for license renewal and professional development. Designed with the busy educator in mind, these courses are offered 100% online and on your schedule.

Many options exist for tailoring the EDGT program to your needs. Each course consists of modules that can be taken individually for 1 credit or all together for a total of 3 credits. EDGT courses do not require you to be accepted into a graduate program. The application process is quick and easy. If you choose to transfer into a graduate program at a later date you may be able to apply your EDGT credits toward your program.

iPads in the Classroom prepares teachers to effectively implement tablets in a K-12 setting. EDGT-800 includes three modules. This course has a strong focus on implementing tablet technology in the classroom, finding apps, and creating content.

Course Description

This module covers iPad basics, implementing iPads and ideas around showing and finding Apps.

Course Description

This module focuses on apps for teachers, SAMR apps, content apps and Bloom’ apps.
EDGT 800 iPads in the Classroom – Module 3 iPad as a Creative Tool - Credits: 1

Course Description

Module 3 covers creative apps for storytelling, video and presentations. In addition topics of app smashing and augmented reality / virtual reality are tackled.

Google in the Classroom includes three modules Google Getting Started, Google Basics, and Google Jedi.
